Show and Tell Friday

I wanted to share my little log cabin in my backyard. I say it is for the boys, but really it is for me! I have a desire to one day live in a log cabin in the "not so woodsy" woods. I love the idea of living in a beautiful log cabin. I don't want it to be too rustic. I love the idea of people being thrown off a bit by walking in and seeing beautiful traditional pieces in a log cabin.

I saw this log cabin as an investment. My boys and their friends can play in it while they are young. I can use it as a potting shed or for storage later. It has a little loft in it that kids love to climb into.
A neighbor friend down the road built it. I think he had a blast building it. He never built one before, but he did an excellent job.

How exciting! I would enjoy having one of those in my backyard, too. I would try to make it my own little art studio. ;)
That is soooo cute!! Perfect for boys, and perfect for you later as a potting shed! Thanks for sharing!

That's such a neat cabin. My baby boy is due any day and I think I'll start talking my husband into building one!
That is adorable. Very wise to get one "for the kids". Yeah for the day when it can be your "play house". I would LOVE one!

What a lovely play house for the kids and it will be great for a potting shed in the future. I too would love to live in a little log cabin in the woods. Enjoyed my visit.

Blessings,

What a great little cabin.

We have a play-house in our garden, but half the size and more like a shed!!

My Hub and I are planning, Lord willing to build a log cabin in Montana when we retire. This is too cute! I think I'd wire it and put in a heater and make it my scrapbooking cabin! Absolutely adorable!

I just (might) have to take over that cabin for a potting shed sooner than planned:). That is darling! I'm sure your kiddos love it, and it makes you smile each time you see it:)
I too would love to live in a log cabin that is in the woods. Somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of the city/urban life ;0). It's very cute and I'd love to have something like that in my back yard!
thanks for sharing, have a great day!
I think it is great and you'll enjoy it once the boys are grown.
I saw one, not much bigger in a pasture off of I-65 near Decatur, Alabama on Wednesday. Of course it wasn't a new one. I was just thinking to myself, then, what fun to have it in my yard.

Oh that's so perfect! I keep teasing my husband that we just need a bunch of little houses in our backyard...something just like this would be perfect. It would be a wonderful place to have some quiet time. It even has a little front porch. Adorable.
