Yummy Quick Lunch

I found this recipe on http://www.allrecipes.com/ a while back. I've tweeked it a bit.

This is a cheap and easy recipe. It is now a favorite and on our regular rotating weekly lunch menu (more on my menus later).

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

1/2 cup mayo
1 clove garlic minced or in garlic press

1 Tablespoon olive oil
6 slices of Steak-umms (I get them at HEB or Kroger)
1/2 chopped onions or onion rings
Kosher salt & pepper to taste
4 hoagie rolls
1 cup of shredded mozzerella
Dash of Worchester sauce
Lettuce (we use organic baby lettuce)
1 teaspoon of dried oregano

In a small bowl combine mayo and garlic. Set aside for use later.

Heat olive oil in skillet (I use my huge electric skillet for this). Cook Steak-ums on one side. Flip over and add mushrooms & onions. Add salt, pepper and a dash of Worchester sauce.

Break up the Steak-umms into strips with two pancake turners.

Spread each bun with garlic mayo. Divide meat mixture into buns. Top with cheese and sprinkle with oregano (don't forget the oregano, yum!). Add lettuce. Wolf them down!
